2 Bad
I purchased two of these. The first one within a day started puffing out smoke that smelled like burned plastic. Returned it. Was told that a piece of plastic from inside had melted onto the bulb. Question ..... why is there plastic inside? Doesn't make sense.
The second one after about 4 days turned on totally burned out our outlet & melted the plastic to the plug-in end. Ended up having to turn off the circuit that that outlet & pry it out with a screw driver & the entire wall unit was melted & burned.
I would never purchase one of these again. Consider it a fire hazard! Also neither of the thermostats worked & I couldn't get it to heat above 68 degrees even though it was set for 75.
So to say the least, they both have been returned. This is a poor choice & beware.
I would recommend this one...
