I manage several buildings that feature these, They are very common in apartments and they work very well. Lots of heat, pretty low noise, and they take up very little wall space; just don't place furniture too close to them and vacuum the grill out once a year. These are often run by a wall thermostat; over-riding the built-in one.
Worked great as a replacement for the same heater.
I ordered this as a replacment for a failed unit. It was an exact match and installed easily in place of the old one within minutes. The prior unit failed after we had the house for four years. And I believe the original unit was installed a few years before we bought the house. So it lasted 4+? years.
should have bigger forced air fan
Cadet #67507 2000W Wall Fan Heater Plenty of heat, wish the forced air fan was bigger. If I were to buy one again I think I would have gone with the next size bigger from Cadet. I have one in my family room and love it, this one just doesn't blow the hot air. I worry about it over-heating.
