Great Fireplace Stove!
I've been searching for a small, efficient, quiet fireplace stove for several months and have always held back on a purchase because after reading reviews I learn they are either inefficient or loud! After doing a thorough check online about this particular stove, I finally ordered it on Amazon! It arrived in perfect shape, all I had to do was screw on the legs which took about 5 minutes and after reading the directions it was up and running! I really like the option of choosing one of the 500 watts of power or both so energy isn't wasted when I don't need that much heat output. You can also control the intensity of the realistic looking flame or simply leave it off. The stove runs quietly even on the highest setting. The infrared heat is a bonus over other stoves as the heat is absorbed and reflected. A Bright and Shining Star
This little fireplace is worth its weight in gold. It's attractive, light weight, cool on top so I don't have to worry about the cat frying herself, and heats up my office beautifully. The fan is a bit louder than I'd prefer, but that is a minor issue since it's in the same room as two computers. However, I don't think I'd want it in a bedroom.
One caveat: If you turn the unit off and move it, it will not turn back on until the heating element cools down. This is a design feature, according to the manufacturer, but not mentioned in the documentation.
